This is another useful process for chaining anchors.
Step 1: Initiate a downtime state. #
Step 2: Establish rapport. #
Specify the problematic current state.
Step 3: Set the frame. #
Step 4: Recognize and name the undesirable current state. #
Step 5: Choose a positive and resourceful end state. #
Step 6: Choose two intermediate states to lead from current to desired. #
Step 7: Design the workflow of the chain. #
Step 8: Elicit and then anchor each state on its own, beginning with the current state all the way through to the final desired state. #
Break state after each step in the process as you did with the previous pattern.
Step 9: Test each state. #
Step 10: Chain the anchors in the chain - firing the first and at its peak adding the second and then at its peak adding the third and finally the fourth. #
Step 11: Test. #
Fire current state anchor. The client should reach the final state in succession.
Step 12: Ask, “Now how do you feel about the problem? #
”
Step 13: Ask, “Can you think of a certain time in the future, in which… if it had happened in the past… you would have this problem, and instead something different happened, and that would be what? #
”
