During the first session with a client, it is important to elicit the person’s accessing cues and guesstimate their primary representation system.

Order to do so effectively, the person should be associated into a vivid and sensory full memory, and it’s best if it’s a positive one.

Step 1: Ask: “When was your last experience of success? #

How did that go, and who in your life did what? What was your active role in achieving this success? How do you manage to stay on the right track? “

Step 2: Listen for rep system predicates. #

Step 3: Note the most frequent eye movements as they express visual, auditory or kinesthetic predicates. #

Step 4: Draw a diagram of the synesthesia. #

In which path their eyes went as they accessed different rep systems?
