This is a process that can help you strengthen your belief in the potential achievement of a desired outcome.

Step 1: State the well-formed desired outcome in one sentence. #

Below we refer to this description of the outcome as X (therefor, replace X with your statement).

Step 2: Say “X, because…” - answer: Why is this outcome important to you? #

Step 3: Say “X, and as a result…” - answer: What is the effect of successfully achieving the outcome? #

Step 4: Say “X, after…” - answer: What must happen before this outcome is fulfilled? #

Step 5: Say “X, while. #

.” - answer: What is happening in sync with the achievement of the outcome?

Step 6: Say “X, whenever…” - answer: In what contexts is this outcome essential? #

Step 7: Say “X, so that…” - answer: What is the intention behind setting this specific outcome? #

Step 8: Say “X, if / in case…” - answer: What constraints does this outcome present? #

Step 9: Say “X, or else…” - answer: What are the alternative options, both positive and negative, to this outcome? #

Step 10: Say “X, just as with…” - answer: What prior evidence, small or big, do I have to further enhance my belief in being able to achieve the outcome? #
