Instructions #

When introducing the “Daily Emotional Check-in” form to your clients, start by explaining its purpose. Inform them that it is a tool to assist them in gaining insight into their daily emotions and moods.

Make it clear that it is a way for them to keep track of their emotional well-being and provides a foundation for meaningful discussions during your sessions.

Instruct them to fill out the form at the end of each day, reflecting on their emotions and selecting those that correspond to their experiences. Encourage them to be truthful and genuine in their choices, as there are no right or wrong answers.

Explain that they can select multiple emotions from the list or add any emotions that are not on the list but are more accurate for them. Remind them to rate the intensity of each selected emotion on a scale of 1 to 10, so they can track changes in emotional intensity over time.

Review the completed forms with your next session, focusing on patterns, triggers, and emotional shifts. This will provide valuable insights into their emotional landscape and allow for more in-depth exploration and comprehension.
