The purpose of this questionnaire is to assess an individual’s tendencies towards either Past Assurance or Future Possibility. It helps the therapist gain insights into the client’s decision-making style, comfort with change, and inclination towards stability or exploration.

By understanding this meta-program, the therapist can tailor their approach and interventions to better support the client’s needs. A score of 12-16 points suggests a preference for Past Assurance. The client values stability, predictability, and established methods.

They may feel resistant to change and prefer to stick to familiar routines and beliefs. A score of 17-24 points indicates a balanced approach, appreciating both Past Assurance and Future Possibility.

The client may exhibit flexibility in adapting to different situations, valuing both the comfort of the known and the excitement of the new. A score of 25-30 points reflects a tendency towards Future Possibility.

The client enjoys exploring new territories, embracing uncertainty, and seeking growth through novel experiences. They may be more open to taking risks and stepping out of their comfort zone.
