Instructions #
The “Options/Procedures” meta-program refers to an individual’s preferred approach to tasks and instructions. People who favor options are more likely to seek out alternative methods of doing things, to value creativity, and to enjoy exploring new possibilities.
When they are forced to follow rigid procedures, they may become frustrated. Clients who prefer procedures, on the other hand, prefer working within predefined structures, value consistency and orderliness, and find comfort in adhering to established protocols.
They may lack the motivation or desire to develop their own procedures. Understanding this meta-program allows you to identify people’s work preferences and tailor instructions and tasks to their preferred style.
