Instructions #
This procedure is intended to assist you, as a therapist, in delving into a profound experience your clients may be having—an un-fillable void within their psyche.
It delves into their insatiable desire for more, whether it’s food, praise, attention, affection, joy, material possessions, or even time.
This unrelenting craving causes panic, as they fear that everything good in life will be taken away too soon, driving them to desperately seek fulfillment before it slips away.
The goal of this investigation is to help your clients understand the causes and consequences of their constant hunger.
You can help them gain insight into how it manifests in their lives and the specific presenting problems they bring to therapy by delving into the underlying causes.
It allows you to investigate the patterns, behaviors, and coping mechanisms they use to satisfy this insatiable desire.
You can help your clients uncover any past experiences or events that may have contributed to the development of this hunger by guiding them through this process.
By shedding light on these factors, you can help them challenge the belief that external resources or experiences will provide the only solution.
